Gluten free friendly places in Sydney

Because I couldn’t possibly blog about each and every place that I eat at that cater for coeliacs I have decided to create a list of places. If you want more information about any of them or want to know of a gluten free friendly place in a specific suburb just let me know! Also let me know of places you have been too that I can add to the list.

Bavarian Bier Cafe, Bondi Beach, Chatswood, Entertainment Quarter, Manly, O’Connell Street, Parramatta, York Street
The eggplant & goat’s cheese stack is gluten free (and delicious) and the staff are knowledgeable

Blues Point Gourmet Pizza, McMahons Point
Offer gluten free bases and are knowledgeable on what toppings you can have

Cafe Ism, Newtown
The Caesar salad is gluten free (minus the croutons) and the staff are knowledgeable on what items are gluten free

Cafe Martini, Newtown
Has a range of gluten free options including gluten free bread. A must try is the fruit bruchetta, it is amazing!

Cantina Bar & Grill, Oxford Street, Sydney
Are highly knowledgeable on what is gluten free and can give you alternatives if you are having the set menu

Crust Pizza, Sydney wide
Offer gluten free bases and are knowledgeable on what toppings you can have

Mamak, Chatswood and Sydney City
The gluten free dishes are Nasi Lemak, Nasi Goreng, the satay dishes, Sambal Udang and I have been told to ask about the curries

Pattison’s Patisserie, Hornsby, St Ives, Ryde, Chatswood, Mosman, Cammeray
A selection of savory and sweet gluten free treats and cakes

Simple & Irresistible Thai Restaurant, North Sydney
They can make most dishes gluten free so just ask!

Stir Crazy Thai, Erskineville, Kirribilli, Neutral Bay, Waverton
Limited gluten free options however at the very least the fresh spring rolls, prawn jungle curry and the basil stir fries are gluten free

Thai Naan, Chatswood
Has a separate gluten free menu

three beans cafe, Broadway, Chatswood, Eastgardens, North Sydney
Their superfood salad is gluten free

Union Hotel, North Sydney
Label all gluten free items on the menu

Wi Marn, Chatswood
Label which items on the menu are gluten free – however always check as they often say that some of the ones labeled gluten free actually contain traces of wheat!

Zacharys, Kings Cross
Offer gluten free pizza bases

Zandria Cafe, Alexandria
Has a range of gluten free sweet options including florentines (in white and dark chocolate) and have gluten free bread
